French Valley airport was built in 1990 and is a great airport to those wanting to explore Temecula and Murrieta. A nice long runway to grease a landing (that's the part of the flight your friends will remember the most). Taxi right up to the French Valley Cafe. Taste the fruits of many wineries. Step back into history with a trip to Old Town Temecula. Wooden sidewalks and gunfights at high noon. Watch hot rodders, motorcyclists and RVers all cruise the main drag. Several great museums to visit - kids love them.
